Invitan Club Rotario Tijuana y Mercedes-Benz a sumarse a colecta de juguetes solidaria
• La iniciativa estará vigente hasta el 3 de enero y busca llevar sonrisas a más de 120 niñas y niños de la comunidad Maclovio Rojas durante esta temporada navideña.
Con el objetivo de brindar una Navidad diferente a niñas y niños en situación vulnerable, el Club Rotario Tijuana, en alianza con Mercedes Benz, puso en marcha una campaña de recolección de juguetes abierta a toda la comunidad en las instalaciones de la agencia automotriz en Tijuana.
El presidente del Club Rotario Tijuana, Gilberto Gamiño Herrera, informó que esta iniciativa permitirá beneficiar a aproximadamente 120 menores que asisten al comedor comunitario Niño de Jesús, ubicado en la comunidad de Maclovio Rojas, una zona con alta necesidad social.
Indicó que la alianza con una empresa de autos de alta gama resulta estratégica, ya que facilita el acercamiento con personas dispuestas a donar, sin que exista obligación alguna de adquirir un vehículo, ya que cualquier persona puede acudir únicamente a entregar un juguete.
“Para nosotros lo más importante es llevar una sonrisa a estos niños, hacer que tengan una Navidad diferente y demostrar que cuando sociedad civil y empresas se unen, el impacto social se multiplica”, expresó Gamiño Herrera.
Por su parte, la gerente junior de Mercadotecnia de Mercedes-Benz, Alejandra Santos, destacó que esta dinámica representa una nueva experiencia para la marca, alineada con su compromiso social y con el deseo de generar bienestar en la comunidad durante estas fechas.
Señaló que la campaña estará vigente hasta el próximo 3 de enero, recibiendo juguetes nuevos o en buen estado, con o sin pilas, para niños y niñas de todas las edades, mismos que serán entregados el 6 de enero en coordinación con el Club Rotario.
Finalmente, Alejandra Santos manifestó que la respuesta de la ciudadanía ha sido positiva desde el primer día, con una alta afluencia de personas que han acudido a la agencia de 8:00 a 19:00 horas para sumarse a esta causa solidaria y contribuir a llenar la unidad destinada a la recolección.
